Most people in Bengaluru don't stop complaining because the problem got fixed. They stop because they couldn't find out who was supposed to fix it.
The number is on a PDF from 2019. The office moved. The complaint went into a portal and never came out. Somewhere in the system there is a person whose job this is — and no ordinary citizen has a clean way to reach them.
We built PMA on one principle: every civic issue must be reported, recorded, and put in front of the person who is accountable for it — and every citizen deserves the right advice from the right expert.

Your ward page lists the responsible department and official contacts — corporation and ward office, water, power, police, traffic, women and child safety — with one-tap calling.
A structured complaint with photos and location, a unique tracking ID, and a clear record of which department it went to.
Every issue carries an internal timeline. If that timeline passes, we escalate — level by level, up the chain.
This is the part most platforms don't show you, so here it is plainly.
Nothing goes public until it's checked. Every contact number, email and service timeline on this site is checked against an official source before it appears. If we haven't confirmed a timeline, the page says “Timeline being verified” rather than showing you a number we invented.
We say “sourced”, not “verified”. Our ward and civic contacts are sourced from official records and marked with the date they were last checked. We will not put a verification badge on a record until a human at PMA has actually verified it.
Our ward boundaries are real geometry. We match your location to a ward by testing your coordinates against the actual ward boundary — not by guessing the nearest ward centre. If your GPS is weak, or you're sitting on a boundary, we tell you and ask you to confirm.
We show our working. Where a service timeline comes from the Karnataka Sakala Act or a department's citizen charter, we name the source. Where no published timeline exists — as with most police and traffic matters — we say that too.
A civic issue is recorded permanently, matched to the responsible department and officer, and routed to them. If nothing moves, it climbs: a reminder, then the next officer up, then corporation or commissioner level — and, where it's warranted, RTI, legal-notice guidance, or taking the matter to court through an independent Advocate.
Some problems aren't civic — they're legal, financial or personal. PMA connects citizens with independent professionals: Advocates enrolled with a State Bar Council and Chartered Accountants in practice at launch, with doctors, teachers, engineers and architects to follow.
Sustained, documented, unresolved issues become stories. We work with journalists and share a public issues wall, because public attention is often the last lever a citizen has — and it belongs in the open.
A Ward Advisor is a trained volunteer who lives in the ward and knows it — its drains, its dark corners, its long-running arguments. When you file an issue, the Ward Advisor's job is to confirm on the ground that it's real, help identify the right route, and stay with it through escalation.
They are volunteers, not employees. They are not government officers, police, elected representatives or lawyers, and they do not give legal advice.
We're onboarding towards one Advisor in every one of the 369 wards. Until your ward has one, your complaint goes to PMA's central team — we don't leave it unattended and we don't pretend the Advisor already exists.
Advocates and Chartered Accountants apply, and we take reasonable steps to check their credentials and standing before listing them. We do not rate them, we do not run fake reviews, and we do not warrant the quality or outcome of their work. They are independent professionals — PMA is the introduction, not the service.

About the ₹1. It is a PMA service fee, not a government fee. It is charged only when your complaint is successfully created. It does not buy faster action and does not guarantee official action or resolution.
About the ₹99. It is PMA's platform fee for the connection. It is not the professional's own fee, which they charge you directly. PMA takes no share of a regulated professional's fee, and no fee guarantees an outcome.

Pick My Advisor is operated by Pickmyadvisor LLP, incorporated with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on 6 August 2026 and registered in Bengaluru. We are an independent private venture — not funded by, contracted to, or acting on behalf of any government body or political organisation.
We first went live on 26 January 2026 covering five zones. We now cover all 369 wards of the Greater Bengaluru Authority: 63 in Central, 50 in East, 72 in North, 72 in South and 112 in West.
